Useful for bird owners

As a bird lover and a bird mommy, It is so important to have a good avian medicine book. Birds are so delicate and hide their illness well by nature, so all bird owner should learn about them more so than any other types of pet owners.
Though it is a book intended for Vet Student, very easy to read and full of usuful information.

Great small book

I got this book because I couldn't afford the 2-volume Harrison and Lightfoot "Clinical Avian Medicine." This seems to have great overviews of avian medicine topics, and has a lot of photos. I would recommend this to any vet wanting to dabble in avian medicine... if you are planning on having a larger portion of your patients be birds, you might want to splurge on the 2-volume Harrison and Lightfoot set.

I bought theis book because I am involved with Dr Tully through the parrots that I have in my life and through the South Alabama Cage Bird Society. Dr Tully works close with our society.
